The Reason...

Many of you are wondering why www.pbshock.com is no longer working. So I shall take the time to explain why you will not see that site for a few days/weeks.

On March 1, 2006 PbShock's host was hacked....

The hackers have deleted all files and hosting accounts off the hosts data base. This means the host has a ton of work before the sites they host will be once again online. Being that all files where deleted and same for accounts, PbShock will have to start from scratch.

Being that we are starting from scratch, I will be redoing everything that has been already established. I will be once again be restructuring the staff. There will now be less staff and more members on the site.

The staff will be broken down into the following:
Site Admins: P8ntballfreak444 and TheForesaken1
Head of Moderators: Pwn3d
Head of Recruitors: Spydermanswelt
Head of Funders: Judge
(The people I listed above, please contact me! As I have certain rules/guidlines for you guys)

Once PbShock is up again, you will see me (p8ntballfreak444) posting less because I will be busy working out deals with stores/companies/ect.

This is going to be a successful website all it takes is team work and trust.

I will make a post on here when the host gets back on track, however, this does not mean PbShock will be up in a few days after.

Reason it will not be up for a few days after host is back on track:
1. I will be installing a different portal as it will no longer be PHP-Nuke.
2. I will have my brother(TheForesaken1) work on the forum part of the site. He will be responsible for making sure everything works.
He will try to have the following installed on the site:
-Download area-Download videos of paintball stuff.
-Gallery- Upload your paintball pictures for others to see.
-Quick Reply- Easier to respond to a thread/post.
-Other stuff
3. I will be working on setting up the PbShock online store. This will take a few days to set up as I need to insert all the items we will be selling along with pictures/descriptions.

As you can see, PbShock really means business. Once all that is in place, expect to see what everyone has been waiting for....CONTESTS/PRIZES!!

Great news!!

The host is now back up which means PbShock will soon be back online!

I am in the process right now of creating the site again. We are using a different portal and I have to learn what is able to be done on it. Furthermore, I will be working on the PbShock store as this will take quite some time to complete.

I am aiming at completing the site by Friday and the store a week later from Friday. However, this is NOT a definate time as to when the site will be back up.

I'm head of recruitors? If they do something wrong or not there job I get to smack them in head? Or would you prefer verbal abuse? lol

Change of plan....

I will continue to use PHP-Nuke as it is a simple yet very customisable program to use for a site.

Doing so will hopefully speed up the time it will take me to get the site back online.

The site is up but not 100% done yet. Some of you have already joined which is fine by me.

I still need to add the chat back on to the site, but I am having some trouble since I have to recode it and not sure exactly what I need to do to the code.

Furthermore....

I have now named Pwn3d Head of Forums/Site. He is in charge of appointing moderators along with other responsibilities I give him.

Everything is pretty much done and set to go....

All I have left to do is:
1. Get the chat back in (having trouble..again)
2. Get Pwn3d to set the forum up since he is Head of Forums/Moderators.
